Responsibilities
- Assist with day-to-day support of security solutions to ensure continuous protection and compliance.
- Support engineering and system administration of specialized cybersecurity solutions.
- Solve complex problems and answer routine questions related to installation, operation, configuration, and customization of cybersecurity software.
- Identify potential conflicts during the implementation of cybersecurity solutions and recommend resolutions.
- Review and analyze system logs for performance and anomalies to maintain security integrity.
- Collaborate with system design architects and project managers to define and implement security requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 3-5 years of relevant IT security experience; additional 4 years of relevant work experience in lieu of education.
- Hands-on experience with application security, secure SDLC, DevSecOps practices, and CI/CD automation.
- Proficiency in programming or scripting languages such as Java, JavaScript, Python, with focus on secure coding and vulnerability management.
- Deep understanding of Linux/Windows OS, networking protocols, and scripting languages.
- Experience with container security, Kubernetes, Helm, Docker, and cloud-native workload protection.
- Familiarity with application security testing tools and vulnerability identification and remediation.
- Knowledge of CI/CD, source code management platforms, and security automation tools.
- Hands-on experience securing AWS cloud environments.
- Professional certifications such as OSCP, CEH, or CISM are preferred.
