Job Title: Packaging Lab Technicican
Location: Princeton, NJ
Hours / Schedule: Monday - Friday (8:30 am - 4:30 pm)
Pay: $20-30 per hour
Type: Contract with potential to extend to a maximum of 1 year
Responsibilities
- Follow test methods and procedures.
- Use measurements of various products and components.
- Record data into lab notebook and into excel.
- Use software to run and operate and communicate information to cross-functional teams.
- Manage tasks and objective priorities, work independently, to help qualify new packaging components.
Requirements
- Proficient in Excel, and Technical measurements.
- Capable of learning basic software and running computer based lab testing equipment.
- Good communication skills to communicate with Engineers and cross-function groups & suppliers.
- Able to work independently and manage project priorities.
- Capable of lifting 50-lb packages for package testing.
- Good mechanical skills, and knowledge of the scientific method.
- Minimum education high school; Chemistry and Physics 1 & 2 required.
