Hours/Schedule: 8hrs/day, 3+days/week; with possibility of converting to FT

Responsibilities
- Manage capital and expense projects ensuring sustainable growth of site automation technologies.
- Maintain building automation system including lifecycle management, modification and troubleshooting in compliance with BIAH SOPs and current industry standards.
- Research and evaluate potential automation projects to determine feasibility. Provide data and proposals to management to guide site investment strategy. Develop and implement site automation improvement initiatives.
- Act as automation and controls subject matter expert on large capital projects.
- Support day to day site automation and controls needs, minimizing production loss. Produce and implement CAPA plans to prevent future occurrences. Lead root cause analysis initiatives as related to automation topics
- Research new technologies, gain competency and train others after implementation.
- This position requires multitasking and frequent assessment of priorities to ensure that production and project goals are achieved in a fast paced environment
Requirements
- Knowledge and understanding of biopharmaceutical regulations and good manufacturing practices is preferred.
- Low voltage controls (relays, safety circuits, drives, etc.)
- Devices and interface technologies (sensors, IO modules, fieldbus and networking)
- PLC programming including ladder, function block and structured text. RSLogix experience is preferred.
- Mechanical design methods and techniques using 30 CAD SolidWorks experience is preferred.
- Building automation systems.
- Siemens Insight or Desigo experience is Ability to clearly communicate verbally and in writing in a cross functional team.
- Good project management and organizational skills.
- Bachelors Degree in Engineering or Control Systems field+ 4 years professional experience
