Responsibilities
- Develop, improve, and implement site PSM programs.
- Manage, coordinate, and implement all 14 elements of OSHA's Process Safety Management standard.
- Lead preliminary hazard reviews for existing and new processes.
- Provide process-safety reviews for the MOC program.
- Participate in or lead root-cause investigations.
- Support teams implementing new products and processes.
- Provide process-safety technical assistance to site management and staff.
- Support the development of the company's best practices and design standards.
- Execute process-safety engineering projects and PHA action items.
- Work with Operations to define and resolve process-safety and design issues.
- Coordinate with Maintenance, Operations, Construction, Purchasing, Logistics, and other internal groups.
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from an accredited university.
- 1–2 years of production experience and 3–7 years of experience in a similar role.
