Responsibilities
- Partner closely with developers to understand pain points, workflow friction, and opportunities to enhance internal tools and processes.
- Lead pilots, empathy sessions, surveys, and focus groups to gather feedback, then translate those insights into actionable backlog items and prioritized product recommendations.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Platform Engineering, Product, UX, and engineering teams to shape roadmap priorities based on developer feedback.
- Define and track Developer Experience KPIs and OKRs — covering adoption, satisfaction, onboarding, usability, and productivity — and turn successful pilots into scalable, repeatable processes.
- Own product communications around launches, enhancements, and roadmap updates, and regularly report outcomes and insights to leadership.
- Support product launches, rollout plans, and change communications.
Requirements
- 5+ years in product management, program management, developer experience, or a related delivery role.
- Comfortable leading pilots, focus groups, empathy sessions, and surveys to gather real feedback.
- Skilled at turning qualitative and quantitative input into clear, prioritized product decisions.
- Experience defining and tracking KPIs/OKRs around adoption, satisfaction, and productivity.
- Background supporting product launches, rollout plans, and change communications.
- Strong facilitation and stakeholder management — able to work across engineering, UX, and product teams.
- Familiarity with Developer Experience (DX) or Internal Developer Platform (IDP) concepts.
- Exposure to developer tooling like Backstage, GitLab CI/CD, or developer portals.
- Background in product discovery, experimentation, or user research.
- Educational requirement: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
