Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor food processing equipment throughout the production process.
- Prepare, cook, and process liquid concentrates according to established production procedures.
- Operate centrifuge equipment and assist with transferring product between processing systems and kettles.
- Monitor production parameters and make minor process adjustments ("process tuning") to maintain product quality and efficiency.
- Accurately complete production records, batch documentation, and equipment logs.
- Follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), GMPs, sanitation, and safety requirements.
- Perform equipment inspections before, during, and after production runs.
- Maintain a clean and organized production area.
- Work closely with supervisors and team members to meet daily production goals.
- Assist with other production duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Previous experience operating manufacturing or production equipment preferred.
- Food & Beverage, pharmaceutical, chemical processing, or industrial manufacturing experience is highly preferred.
- Experience following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and documenting production activities.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot basic equipment issues.
- Ability to work safely in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
- Comfortable working around industrial processing equipment.
- Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with varying temperatures and noise levels.
