Responsibilities
- Review incoming project requests for alignment with capital policy and strategic objectives.
- Validate completeness of Statements of Work (SOWs) and supporting documentation.
- Analyze project deliverables and costs to determine proper classification (CapEx vs. OpEx).
- Provide clear documentation and recommendations for financial coding.
- Partner with IT teams, Finance, and project managers to ensure accurate intake and classification.
- Communicate findings and recommendations in clear, concise language for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ensure adherence to internal capital software policy and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain accurate records for audit and reporting purposes.
- Identify opportunities to streamline intake and classification workflows.
- Leverage automation and AI tools (e.g., Microsoft Copilot) to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Requirements
- Project intake coordination experience with Software Projects/Hardware IT, strong financial/compliance awareness (Capital vs. O&M), proficiency in JIRA/SharePoint.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, time management, collaboration, and attention to detail, with the ability to own work and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Candidates with 3–5+ years of relevant experience in project support, intake coordination, operations, or similar roles.
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent).
- Experience with fixed assets, capital project management, or capital project budgeting preferred.
- Knowledge of CapEx vs. OpEx principles and financial governance.
