Marketing Project Manager
Our fast-paced Fortune 100 insurance client is looking for a Marketing Project Manager to join their team for a long-term contract role. In this role, you will be responsible for managing Agile pods to enable iterative and incremental delivery of business value, with a focus on effective project planning, management, and prioritization, enabling the pod to accelerate in-market test-and-learn cycle times, and continuous improvement of team processes and effectiveness. You are a highly charismatic, engaging and passionate individual who can inspire and empower teams in their journey towards greater resourcefulness, self-reliance and growth.
Responsibilities:
- Create a sound project management approach, including project plans and timelines, that fits best in planning and managing the work for the Agile pod
- Own cadences and routines that sustain and improve Agile best practices across teams including the establishment and management of workflows, Teams channel, and artifacts
- Coordinate and manage all creative specs, asset trafficking required for campaign execution and delivery
- Coordinate across functional teams (creative, UX), channel teams (web, social, email), and stakeholders, to manage channel execution and optimizations
- Empower and motivate the team, help team to clear potential roadblocks, paving the way for project success
- Enable the team to meet the project’s goals and deadlines within the designated limitations/scope of the project
- Partner with Agile coaches to promote and enable Agile marketing methodology and ways of working to progress Agile maturity across the pod
- Be an advocate for Agile culture and values - lead by example
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or relevant discipline
- 5+ years of experience as a project manager in marketing, advertising, or tech teams
- Experience managing up and down organizations including leadership teams, executives, line managers, delivery teams and individuals
- Demonstrated strong interpersonal and collaboration skills
- Skilled expertise in project management platforms like Workfront, Jira
- Excellent time management, relationship building, and communication skills
- Agile certifications (e.g., Scrum Alliance, SAFe) preferred
- Experience operating in a global role across multiple markets and geographies preferred
- Experience operating in large enterprise environments a plus
