Responsibilities
- Test raw materials and finished products to ensure compliance with quality specifications
- Follow all safety and Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) policies
- Report quality control results promptly and communicate findings to plant management
- Enter QC data and maintain quality records
- Collect and review Certificates of Analysis (COAs) for incoming raw materials
- Monitor and track laboratory equipment calibration
- Maintain inventory of laboratory supplies and chemicals
- Assist with sample shipments
- Participate as an active member of the production team representing Quality Control
- Support special projects related to safety, efficiency, and corporate initiatives
- Learn and understand plant processes and controls impacting product quality
- Maintain laboratory housekeeping standards and organization
- Ensure laboratories are stocked with testing materials and equipment
- Identify and report unsafe conditions within the plant
- Perform other duties as assigned by Plant Manager and QC Management
Requirements
- Associate degree OR high school diploma with 1-3 years of quality control testing experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong math and computer skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Familiarity with SAP preferred
- Strong problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
