Responsibilities
- Perform in-process inspections to ensure compliance with all manufacturing and inspection requirements.
- Maintain accurate records and verify the effective implementation of the Quality Program.
- Act as a quality representative during internal, customer, and regulatory audits.
- Conduct in-coming inspections for all raw materials, components, and castings received before release for process or production.
- Ensure in-process inspections are completed according to engineering specifications during manufacturing.
- Investigate and validate or reject inspected parts in compliance with engineering standards.
- Perform mechanical, visual, and dimensional inspections of parts using inspection hand tools.
Requirements
- Experience with QC Receipt inspections, specifically in a nuclear or industrial manufacturing environment.
- Ability to perform mechanical, visual, and dimensional inspections accurately.
- Strong documentation skills and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of quality control processes and procedures.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical or quality-related certifications preferred.
