Overview
Biopharmaceutical Company seeking a Receptionist for a short term contract in Rockville, MD.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily front desk and reception operations, including call management, visitor greeting, reception area upkeep, and adherence to visitor access procedures.
- Manage visitor check-in, badges, deliveries, taxi vouchers, loaner badges, mail, shipping, office supplies, and FedEx account activity.
- Coordinate reception coverage, conference room scheduling, transportation requests, office support services, and employee care deliveries in partnership with Human Resources.
- Provide administrative support for procurement (purchase requisitions), service requests, office cost tracking, company communications, emergency preparedness, and other operational needs while ensuring compliance with company policies.
Requirements
- High school diploma or higher (HS or BS).
- 2+ years of industry experience.
- Proven reliability and strong organizational skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage electronic files logically and maintain a professional, courteous manner in person and over the phone.
- Strong customer service orientation.
