Overview
Seeking a candidate ideally with a background in the construction industry and experience building strong partnerships with hiring managers to forecast and develop plans for key staffing initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Develop, post, and maintain quality job descriptions and advertisements for open positions, ensuring consistency and compliance across all postings
- Source candidates through creative social media tools and develop robust networking avenues
- Initiate contact with passive candidates for openings and maintain candidate pipelines
- Work collaboratively with business leads to screen potential candidates
- Utilize internal applicant tracking system to review applications and maintain candidate progress
- In partnership with hiring managers and HR, develop compensation recommendations and negotiate job offers with candidates.
- Facilitate all stages of the candidate lifecycle, from job creation through offer, ensuring all candidates have a positive, well-informed experience during the recruiting process.
- Maintain thorough communication with members of the onboarding team to ensure a successful experience throughout
- Attend career fairs and trade shows (travel required)
Requirements
- This position will be based in Deer Park, Texas and will be in-office 5 days a week.
- The ideal candidate has a background in construction and experience building strong partnerships with hiring managers to forecast and develop plans for key staffing initiatives.
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- 3+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, preferably specializing in the recruitment of engineers within the domains of power generation, storage, transmission, and distribution. Candidates with a background in technical recruitment or other recruitment specializations may also be considered
- Demonstrated professional communication skills
