Responsibilities
- Develop creative staffing plans to generate a qualified pool of applicants for current and future openings
- Develop job-based situational and behavioral questions for current and future job openings
- Conduct interviews for a wide-range of positions
- Develop relationships and open lines of communication with the Business Accounts Manager to help ensure successful placements
- Research industry to understand requirements of positions and identify successful candidates
- Update and maintain candidate database
- Track and maintain records on candidates, job listings and client status
- Stay abreast of any changes to federal and state employment laws as it relates to interviews and hiring
- Leverage AI Agents to be more efficient sourcing, screening, and qualifying candidates
- Strong knowledge of the recruiting and staffing industry
- Minimum of three (3) years of previous experience as a recruiter for a staffing agency, preferably in energy, engineering, manufacturing or light industrial
- Proficiency in a variety of candidate sourcing platforms such as Indeed, Zip Recruiter, LinkedIn Recruiter, etc.
- Computer literate, especially in MS Office and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), particularly Bullhorn
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred or equivalent experience
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to develop a rapport with candidate base
