We are seeking a detail-oriented Regional Sales Assistant (Customer Service Representative) to provide administrative and customer service support to the Regional Sales team. This role serves as a liaison between Sales, Credit, Operations, Logistics, and customers to ensure accurate order processing, timely deliveries, and excellent customer service.
Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to the Regional Sales team.
- Process customer orders, including bulk, packaged, and drop-ship orders, in SAP.
- Coordinate with Sales, Credit, Operations, Logistics, vendors, and carriers to ensure timely order fulfillment.
- Track open orders, assist with load planning, and communicate delivery updates.
- Prepare sales reports, freight quotes, customer documentation, and other administrative reports.
- Process vendor invoices, maintain accurate customer records, and verify order documentation.
- Assist with customer rebates, expense tracking, and general office administration.
- Coordinate travel arrangements, meetings, mail, office supplies, and other administrative tasks.
- Support regional events, customer visits, and special projects.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred
- Experience with SAP preferred
- 3+ years of administrative, customer service, or office experience
- Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
- Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, and work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities with accuracy and efficiency
- Team-oriented with a proactive, adaptable approach
