Reporting to the Director of Finance, the Sr. Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Analyst plays a critical role in delivering financial insights and analysis to support business decisions at all levels of the organization. This role will interpret financial performance, identify trends, provide actionable recommendations, and drive performance improvements across the company.
The Sr. FP&A Analyst will lead corporate planning and forecasting processes, monitor financial results, and provide analysis to help management understand variances from budgets, forecasts, and prior periods.
- Interpret, analyze, and present financial results, budgeting, and planning to management.
- Lead and contribute to the annual budgeting and forecasting process, including development and presentation of results.
- Build strong business relationships and manage multiple priorities across functions.
- Prepare materials and presentations for board meetings, senior leadership meetings, and ad hoc requests.
- Perform scenario modeling to support portfolio growth and strategic initiatives.
- Analyze trends to improve the accuracy and efficiency of the month-end close process.
- Develop and maintain processes for ongoing review of financial and operational performance.
- Collaborate effectively across teams and with senior management.
- Translate complex data into clear, actionable insights linked to the company’s strategic objectives.
- Communicate performance trends and provide recommendations based on historical and forecasted results.
- Strong financial modeling and analytical skills; ability to tell a story with data.
- Comfortable working under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work cross-functionally, particularly with operations and commercial teams.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Experience in home service businesses, private equity portfolio companies, or field route operations a plus.
- Familiarity with tools such as PestPac, Salesforce, and BigQuery is +
- Minimum 3 years of financial analysis or FP&A experience.
- BS/BA in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- Ability to work onsite in Houston, TX, full-time.
