Hours: M-F 8:30 -4:30
Must haves:
- BS Degree in any related Science (Chemistry Degree preferred but Life Sciences is ok)
- At Least 6 months of lab experience in home care, personal care or any science related industry
- Preference is for experience with wet chemistry (pH, viscosity, titrations, etc.) and proficiencies with using an analytical balance and mixing
- Must be comfortable with Lab upkeep - e.g. logging in ingredients and lab maintenance and clean up
- Some Batching experience a plus
- Must be comfortable with some routine work (e.g. weekly studies)
- Must be comfortable lifting up to 40 lbs.
- Must be able to work in a fast paced, high priority environment
- Must be able to work under Chemist’s direction with attention to detail
- Strong Work Ethic
- Willingness to Learn, shows interest, energetic personality!
Responsibilities:
- Support Scientists in exploring new technologies and new methods for transformational Pet care products
- Prepare pet care litter and additive product prototypes, perform prototype evaluations, conduct stability testing and other laboratory experiments
- Support Chemist with day to day laboratory and consumer experience related tasks
