Responsibilities
- Perform quality inspections on substations to ensure compliance with project specifications and standards.
- Read and interpret grading plans and soil reports to verify construction accuracy and adherence to design.
- Communicate effectively both orally and in writing with team members, contractors, and clients.
- Utilize surveying equipment including robotic instruments, GPS devices, and data collectors to gather field data.
- Document findings accurately and prepare inspection reports as required.
- Assist in coordinating field activities to maintain project schedules and quality standards.
Requirements
- Preferred experience with reading and interpreting grading plans and soil reports.
- Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
- Minimum of 5 years surveying experience with robotic instruments, GPS, and data collectors.
- Previous experience in civil construction works is preferred.
- Must be a self-starter, organized, and possess good interpersonal and time management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel).
- Ability to work effectively in a field office on the job site.
- Proficient with computers and/or iPads.
