Overview
Cybersecurity professional with experience supporting secure and compliant computer systems. Skilled in troubleshooting, patch management, vulnerability remediation, and system administration in Linux and Windows environments. Familiar with Splunk, Nessus/ACAS, and STIG compliance tools. Holds an active CompTIA Security+ certification.
Responsibilities
- Maintain smooth operation of cyber compliant computer systems, including coordination with network administrators.
- Interpret security and information protection policies into executable requirements and technical solutions.
- Troubleshoot system cyber settings impacting embedded software operation.
- Perform software patching, virus scanning, vulnerability scanning, and system backup.
- Set up administrator and service accounts, maintain system documentation.
- Manage multiple projects in a dynamic and demanding environment.
- Valid CompTIA Security + Certificate required.
- Experience in maintaining cyber compliant computer systems.
- Knowledge of security policies and technical solutions implementation.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex system issues.
- Knowledge of industry standard Information Assurance tools (Splunk, Nessus/Tenable/ACAS, STIG Viewer/SCAP Compliance Checker/eSTIG).
- Programming skills in C++, scripting experience with Python, PowerShell, Node.js or similar.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines using GITLab, Docker, and container-based microservice architecture.
- Certification in Linux preferred.
- Minimum 0 years of experience in a relevant field.
