Overview
Leading pharmaceutical company looking for an Vaccine Manufacturing Technician. Ideal candidates should have a high school diploma and a working knowledge of cGMP and USDA requirements for Vaccine Manufacturing.
Responsibilities
- Perform process duties supporting the production of Boehringer Ingelheim vaccines, ensuring compliance with safety and sterility standards
- Work within the tank and central services department to support vaccine manufacturing activities
- Support production schedules by following the Tank and Central Services scheduling board
- Perform steam in place (SIP) and clean in place (CIP) of mobile process equipment
- Prepare and sterilize process equipment by autoclaving
- Decontaminate garments, equipment, and roller bottles via autoclaving
- Ensure adherence to Standard Operating Procedures during process execution
- Assist with training and coaching current and new employees on required skills
- Review in-process documentation for accuracy and compliance, maintaining technical data and support documentation
- Participate in root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventative actions
- Support site projects and initiatives, including deviation and change control management
- Demonstrate a commitment to Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) programs and initiatives
- Assess individual performance with a focus on continuous improvement (AAI)
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Working knowledge of cGMP and USDA requirements for Vaccine Manufacturing
- Results-oriented with the ability to meet deadlines in a complex environment
- Basic math skills and troubleshooting skills for equipment and processes
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and other database software systems
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Demonstrated problem-solving ability
- Preferred laboratory and manufacturing experience
