As an electro mechanical technician, the Maintenance Tech insures optimal manufacturing equipment operations and preventive maintenance. This role applies knowledge of electrical theory and principles, hydraulics, welding, AC/DC overhead crane repair and safety standards.

What you'll need:
HS diploma or GED
1-year manufacturing maintenance experience or trade school degree
Ability to lift 50 pounds
Bend, stand, for extended periods and withstand exposure to heat and cold.
Able to climb in overhead structures, work beneath machines and in close quarters
PLC experience preferred
Ability to read schematics, and understand circuits is mandatory
Familiar with AC/DC power and drives
Knowledgeable with Lockout/ Tag Out
1 year of high voltage experience, up to 138KV (preferred)
Knowledge of hydraulics
Willing to be part of a winning team and able to work all shifts, flexible hours and mandatory overtime.
What you'll do:
Analyzes circuits, wiring diagrams, and drawings to install, repair or service electronic devices and systems.
Receives wiring diagrams, specifications, and instructions from supervisor covering emergency and scheduled repairs, installation and electrical inspection work to be performed.
Performs work requiring a thorough knowledge of electrical theory and principles, statutory codes, properties of materials and principles.
Perform PM as required.
Fabricates parts if not commercially available.
Repairs overhead cranes and control boxes for remote cranes.
Services electronic equipment by checking, testing and replacing faulty components, circuits, printed circuit boards, and similar electronic devices.
Notifies supervisor of potentially dangerous electrical equipment noted and corrective action is taken.
Adheres to housekeeping and safety standards, including the required use of personal protective equipment.
