Responsibilities
- Provides engineering support to a manufacturing process, project or function.
- Evaluates manufacturing outcomes and implements continuous improvements and cost efficiencies.
- Supports NPI and new equipment/process introductions.
- This is an individual contributor role that requires the use of judgement in applying professional expertise and is expected to work independently with minimal supervision.
- This position requires professional mastery of a specialized field of expertise that typically requires a college degree or equivalent.
- Requires a good knowledge and comprehensive understanding of the range of processes, procedures and systems to be used in carrying out assigned tasks and a basic understanding of the underlying concepts & principles.
- The job requires the ability to make judgements based on practice and previous experience.
- This job typically requires a degree in process or equivalent and no experience.
- Nice to have: Technical Writing, Drawing evaluation, Computer basics.
- Bachelor's Degree in an Engineering Field
- Good understanding of manufacturing processes, procedures, and systems.
- Medical Device Experience is highly preferred
- Ability to evaluate manufacturing outcomes and implement improvements.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Professional mastery of a specialized field of expertise.
- Excellent judgment and ability to work independently.
- Knowledge of technical writing, drawing evaluation, and computer basics is a plus.
