Job Title: Laboratory Analyst
Location: Ashland, VA - Onsite
Compensation: $22-$30 an hour (commensurate with experience)
Hours: Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:00pm
Responsibilities
- Performs routine lab tasks that provide experience and familiarization with methods, practices and programs
- Prepares samples using standard techniques
- Performs chemical analysis using standard techniques
- Calculates data
- Records and reports data and any unusual test occurrences to the supervisor
- Performs routine instrument maintenance
Requirements
- Bachelor’s required – chemistry preferred
- Industry experience with metals, ICP, GC, or other instrumentation, or research projects/internships involving metals/GC/instrumentation
- 1-3 years of experience
