Objective: Manage sheet metal construction projects from start to final completion, ensuring adherence to schedule, budget, and quality standards
Responsibilities
- Lead the buy-out process of subcontracts and purchase orders, ensuring proper tracking and documentation
- Prepare and submit monthly progress billings to the owner, monitor responses, and manage cash flow effectively
- Expedite all submittals to prevent project delays and oversee project closeout activities, including submission of close-out documents and warranties
- Coordinate with safety personnel and field teams to ensure compliance with safety standards and effective operations
- Collect and track potential cost changes, report findings to the Operations Manager for accurate project cost management
- Act as the primary representative of the company both internally and externally, demonstrating professionalism and strong communication skills
- Assist project engineers and superintendents as needed for field operations and project support
- Perform other duties as required to ensure the successful delivery of assigned projects
Requirements
- Thorough knowledge of Sheet Metal, HVAC, Plumbing, and Process Piping systems
- 3-5 years of construction experience, with a background in sheet metal projects
- Bachelor’s or Associate’s Degree in Construction Management or related field preferred
- Strong problem-solving and organizational skills, with a sense of priority and urgency
- Detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task effectively
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office software and related computer skills
