Objective
Execute mechanical engineering assignments involving specifications, calculations, reports, and project studies for mechanical disciplines under defined parameters.Responsibilities
- Perform engineering calculations aligned with project requirements under supervision.
- Develop equipment specifications and generate purchase requisitions.
- Review vendor, client, and cross-disciplinary drawings for technical compliance.
- Conduct field investigations to validate design conditions and project scope.
- Maintain organized engineering documentation and project records.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science or Technology in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited four-year institution.
- Minimum five (5) years of mechanical engineering experience.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license mandatory.
- Proficiency in interpreting P&IDs and equipment drawings.
- Demonstrated experience specifying pumps, air compressors, conveyors, cooling towers, chillers, and HVAC systems.
- Working knowledge of ASME codes and relevant industry standards.
- Ability to perform field investigations to confirm design parameters.
Preferences
- Experience with pipe stress analysis.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or Inventor.
- Familiarity with piping design standards and isometric drawings.
- Experience using MathCAD, Microsoft Excel, or Microsoft Access.
