Engineering Technician Overview:
We are seeking a recent Engineering graduate (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree) for a short-term opportunity supporting a digital documentation initiative within a modern medical device manufacturing facility serving customers globally.
This role is ideal for someone looking to gain real-world experience in manufacturing operations, quality systems, and ERP-based documentation in a fast-paced environment.
Engineering Technician Responsibilities:
- Assist in converting paper-based forms and work instructions into digital formats.
- Support the setup and maintenance of electronic workflows within an ERP system.
- Help organize and update engineering and quality documentation.
- Work with cross-functional teams to gather information and support documentation updates.
- Review documents for accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
- Assist with data entry, tracking updates, and maintaining organized records.
- Support testing and basic troubleshooting of electronic forms and workflows.
- Prepare simple reports, spreadsheets, and documentation using Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Assist Engineering and Operations teams with day-to-day documentation needs.
- Follow established quality and documentation standards.
- Support general process improvement and administrative tasks as needed.
Engineering Technician Requirements:
- Recent graduate with an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
- Internship, co-op, or school project experience preferred.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
- Interest in manufacturing, engineering systems, or quality processes.
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
- Comfortable working in both office and manufacturing settings.
- Ability to sit for extended periods and occasionally walk through production areas; ability to lift up to 20 lbs as needed.
