Responsibilities:
- Follow all safety, security, and environmental policies and procedures.
- Maintain housekeeping standards and keep work areas clean and organized.
- Execute production processes according to quality standards and report any process deviations.
- Meet daily production schedules and productivity goals.
- Ensure materials and equipment are available and in proper working condition before production.
- Operate a forklift to unload finished pallets from the production line.
- Operate shrink-wrap machinery to prepare finished pallets for storage or shipment.
- Print inventory labels using SAP and move finished products into warehouse storage.
- Perform batch making, packaging, product setups, and changeovers as directed.
- Operate, maintain, and assist in troubleshooting production equipment.
- Support preventive maintenance activities.
- Train and assist new or temporary employees.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and other projects assigned by management.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in an industrial/manufacturing environment.
- Chemical batch production experience preferred.
- Prior military experience is a plus.
- Ability to operate a forklift safely and efficiently.
- Experience using SAP or similar inventory management systems preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established procedures.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Positive attitude and strong commitment to safety, quality, and productivity.
