Overview
Supports engineering data quality and PLM readiness by executing CAD data cleanup, metadata alignment, and model updates to ensure accurate product structures and CAD–PLM integration.
Responsibilities
- Execute CAD data cleanup and alignment activities within CAD and PLM systems.
- Update and validate part and assembly metadata, including attributes, naming conventions, and file structures.
- Resolve inconsistencies across CAD files and associated product structures.
- Modify and maintain 2D and 3D models to align with standards and ensure accurate linkage to parts and BOMs.
- Support file type standardization and CAD–PLM integration.
Requirements
- Experience working with CAD and PLM systems.
- Knowledge of part and assembly metadata, including attributes, naming conventions, and file structures.
- Ability to modify and maintain 2D and 3D CAD models.
- Familiarity with parts, BOMs, and product structures.
- Experience supporting CAD–PLM integration and file type standardization.
