About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Data Center / Mission Critical Field Service Technician based in Denver, CO to support projects at data centers and other mission critical facilities nationwide.
This position is ideal for an experienced electrical technician with a strong background in low- and medium-voltage switchgear who enjoys hands-on field work, troubleshooting, commissioning, and extensive travel.
You will travel to customer sites across the country performing quality control inspections, equipment commissioning, repairs, maintenance, troubleshooting, and field service on critical electrical equipment.
What You'll Do
- Travel 60%+ nationwide to data centers and mission critical facilities
- Perform field service, troubleshooting, repairs, and maintenance on low- and medium-voltage electrical equipment
- Perform quality control inspections on electrical installations and equipment
- Assist with commissioning, startup, testing, and functional verification of critical electrical systems
- Inspect, test, troubleshoot, and service switchgear and associated electrical equipment
- Identify equipment deficiencies and perform or coordinate corrective repairs
- Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, one-lines, and equipment documentation
- Document testing, inspections, repairs, deficiencies, and commissioning activities
- Work closely with project managers, engineers, contractors, commissioning teams, and customer representatives
- Follow all site-specific safety procedures, MOPs, SOPs, and EOPs
- Maintain a high level of professionalism while representing the company at customer sites
- Support emergency service and scheduled maintenance activities as needed
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of hands-on electrical field experience
- Experience working with low- and medium-voltage switchgear
- Data center, mission critical, industrial, or commercial electrical experience preferred
- Experience with electrical troubleshooting, testing, repairs, or commissioning
- Ability to read and understand electrical drawings, schematics, and one-line diagrams
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
- Willingness and ability to travel 60%+ nationwide
- Ability to work independently in the field and communicate effectively with customers and project teams
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to pass required background checks, drug screening, and customer site requirements
Preferred Qualifications
- Colorado Journeyman Electrical License (CO JM)
- Data center / mission critical experience
- Medium-voltage electrical experience
- Switchgear commissioning experience
- Electrical testing and quality control experience
- Experience with startup and commissioning of critical power systems
- OSHA 10/30
- NFPA 70E / electrical safety training
- Experience working with hyperscale data centers or other mission critical facilities

Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a hands-on electrical technician who understands low- and medium-voltage equipment and is comfortable working in demanding, high-reliability environments.
We're looking for someone who is safety-focused, technically strong, detail-oriented, and willing to travel extensively. Data center or mission critical experience is highly desirable, but strong switchgear and electrical field service experience will also be considered.
