Responsibilities
- Support procurement activities by coordinating capital equipment purchases, laboratory supplies, contracts, invoicing, and spend tracking
- Gather specifications, documentation, and approvals for capital equipment requests
- Collect supplier quotations and route materials for review and approval
- Create and track purchase requisitions and purchase orders in compliance with internal procedures
- Monitor order status, delivery schedules, and installation milestones
- Coordinate communication between Lab Operations, Facilities, and vendors to ensure delivery and equipment readiness
- Review laboratory supply requests for accuracy and approval, execute purchase orders, and maintain records
- Track invoice statuses, identify discrepancies, support invoice reconciliation within P2P systems, and escalate issues as needed
- Maintain organized procurement documentation for audit compliance
- Assist with special projects, follow SOPs, and support continuous learning of procurement systems and policies
- Required Bachelor's degree in business administration, scientific discipline, or equivalent qualification
- 3+ years supporting procurement or operational roles
- Experience or strong interest in procurement, supply chain, or operations
- Exposure to purchasing, invoicing, or financial systems preferred
- Attention to detail and organizational skills for managing multiple priorities
- Effective communication skills across teams
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Willingness to learn procurement systems and processes
- Strong organizational abilities and meticulous attention to detail
- Collaborative and service-oriented mindset; comfortable engaging with technical and non-technical stakeholders
