Overview
Leading pharmaceutical company looking for an entry level Active Ingredient Technician. Ideal candidates should have at least a High School Diploma or equivalent required with at least one year of laboratory and/or manufacturing experience.
Responsibilities
- Perform activities associated with the preparation of vaccine components in an aseptic clean room environment utilizing virus and cell culture techniques according to USDA regulations
- Ensure compliance with Standard Operating Procedures during process execution
- Assist with training and coaching current and new employees on required skills
- Complete and review in-process documentation for accuracy and compliance in a timely manner; maintain technical data and support documentation
- Participate in root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventative actions to address problems; escalate production flow disturbances
- Demonstrate a visible and tangible commitment to EHS (Environment, Health, and Safety) programs and initiatives
- Assess individual performance regarding continuous improvement (AAI)
- Support site projects and initiatives, including deviation and change control management
Requirements
- Demonstrated strong organizational and time management skills with exceptional attention to detail
- Clean room and aseptic technique knowledge
- Basic understanding of Lean Manufacturing Principles
- Basic math skills, equipment/automation troubleshooting skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and other database software systems
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Demonstrated ability to problem solve
- High School Diploma or equivalent required with at least one year of laboratory and/or manufacturing experience.
- Degree in Biology or related field preferred.
