Responsibilities
- Operate batch making equipment, mixers, pumps, and related machinery in accordance with production schedules and safety standards.
- Weigh and measure raw materials, prepare batches, and ensure high-quality manufacturing processes.
- Package finished goods into pails, drums, totes, or bulk tanks as per product specifications.
- Receive bulk deliveries, coordinate transfers to storage tanks, and put away packaged materials following 5S standards.
- Conduct routine inventory cycle counts and stock checks, maintaining accurate inventory records.
- Operate forklifts and other equipment safely, maintaining equipment in clean, operational condition.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with OSHA standards and company policies.
- Assist with shipping and receiving duties, including managing incoming and outgoing materials and documentation.
- Report unsafe practices, equipment malfunctions, and non-conformances to supervision promptly.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Production Manager to meet production goals and safety standards.
Requirements
- Ability to speak, read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
- Physically capable of performing all duties related to production and warehouse operations.
- Good planning skills and attention to detail.
- Proficient in basic computer operations, calculations, and measurements.
- Ability to work safely, accurately, and efficiently under quality standards and deadlines.
- Forklift certification is required.
