Overview
A leading biotechnology company is seeking a Manufacturing Associate – Downstream to support GMP production of clinical and commercial biopharmaceutical products. This is a hands-on opportunity to gain experience with purification processes in a collaborative, fast-paced manufacturing environment with strong growth potential.
Responsibilities
- Participate in hands-on GMP manufacturing of clinical and commercial biopharmaceutical products
- Perform downstream purification processes including filtration, chromatography, titrations, column packing, Tangential Flow Filtration (TFF), and bulk fill
- Prepare, consume, and track materials, solutions, and components in SAP
- Follow and document all activities in accordance with SOPs, batch records, and GMP requirements
- Assist in the creation and revision of batch records, SOPs, and material specifications
- Maintain equipment and ensure adequate supplies for routine manufacturing operations
- Keep manufacturing areas clean, organized, and inspection-ready
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance team efficiency and product quality
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a scientific field (Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, etc.) preferred; entry-level candidates encouraged to apply OR High School Diploma with relevant GMP manufacturing experience and aseptic technique
- Exposure to downstream processing such as buffer prep, column packing, or purification is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow regulated procedures
- Must be self-motivated, driven, and able to work independently and within a team
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate in a team-oriented environment
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer
