Responsibilities
- Independently performs repairs, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting on plastic molding and extrusion equipment.
- Performs mold setups, insert changes, extrusion line startup/shutdown, cleaning, and process changes.
- Implements corrective actions, engineering changes, documentation, training, and equipment improvements.
Requirements
- Minimum 7 years of direct plastic processing experience, including injection molding, plastics processing, plastic extrusion, tooling, and assembly.
- Hands-on injection molding and plastic extrusion set-up experience.
- Advanced troubleshooting skills in electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and networking systems.
- High school diploma or GED.
