Responsibilities
- Support the accurate and timely processing of capital fixed assets, including ROC (Request for Capital) origination support and processing of FADO (Fixed Asset Disposal) and FATO (Fixed Asset Transfer) transactions.
- Assist project managers and other departments in the submission of ROC documentation.
- Review ROC requests for completeness, accuracy, and adherence to company capitalization policies.
- Track the status of ROCs through the approval process and communicate updates as needed.
- Process fixed asset disposal requests accurately and in a timely manner within the quarter.
- Ensure all necessary documentation (disposal forms, approvals) is complete and retained.
- Calculate gains or losses on disposals in accordance with accounting standards
- Update fixed asset records to reflect disposals and ensure proper derecognition.
- Manage and process fixed asset transfer requests between departments, locations, or projects.
- Verify the accuracy of transfer details, including asset identification, cost, and accumulated depreciation.
- Ensure proper authorization for all transfers.
- Update fixed asset records to reflect ownership or location changes.
