Responsibilities
- Perform sorting experiments on the FACSAria Fusion, ensuring proper maintenance, alignment, and calibration of cell sorting equipment.
- Maintain and organize schedules for cell sorting equipment and keep electronic notebooks up-to-date.
- Maintain an adequate inventory of flow cytometry supplies and reagents.
- Support scientific staff by performing flow cytometric duties to meet research goals.
- Assist with experimental laboratory work, including cell sorting, tissue culture, cytometry staining, assay development, and data analysis.
- Ensure proper equipment calibration, maintenance, and troubleshooting to support continuous laboratory operations.
- BS/MS in a scientific field.
- 1-3 years of relevant experience using cytometric instrumentation.
- Experience with cell sorting, tissue culture, cytometry staining, assay development, and data analysis is advantageous.
- Experimental laboratory work and cytometry sorting experience preferred.
- Analytical problem-solving skills.
- Flexibility to perform duties that support scientific goals.
