Overview
We are seeking a Member Service Representatives to support a high-volume healthcare contact center during Open Enrollment season. In this role, you will assist members with benefits, claims, enrollment, billing inquiries, and general customer service needs while providing a positive customer experience.
This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to navigate multiple systems while handling inbound calls. Successful candidates will be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and maintaining confidentiality when handling sensitive member information.
Responsibilities
• Respond to inbound member inquiries regarding benefits, claims, enrollment, and billing
• Research and resolve customer issues while providing accurate information
• Document customer interactions and maintain detailed records
• Navigate multiple systems simultaneously while assisting members
• Escalate complex issues when appropriate
• Support enrollment and account-related transactions
• Provide professional and empathetic customer service
• Maintain productivity and quality standards in a contact center environment
Required Qualifications
• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum 1 year of customer service experience
• 2-3 years of previous inbound call center experience
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work in a high-volume call center environment
• Experience using multiple computer systems simultaneously
• Strong computer proficiency with the ability to quickly learn and navigate multiple systems simultaneously, including Microsoft Office and customer service platforms
• Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment
Preferred Qualifications
• 2-5 years of inbound call center experience
• Healthcare or health insurance experience
• Claims processing experience
• Member services experience
• Enrollment or benefits administration experience
• Experience working in a quality or production-driven environment
• Experience working with healthcare or insurance platforms such as NICE, OnBase, FEPDirect, Advance Capture, or similar customer service systems.
• Exposure to medical terminology, healthcare services, or insurance products
