Job Title: Asphalt Patch Crew Foreman
Location: York, PA

Foreman for Patch Crew

Requires hands on field leadership, strong communication skills, and the ability to oversee production, equipment, and job site workflow to meet project specifications and deadlines
Conduct daily job briefings based on work orders and instructions from the Project Manager or Superintendent.
Review project plans and layout requirements; organize the day’s operations accordingly.
Assign tasks to laborers and equipment operators based on crew capabilities and daily work orders.
Lead daily safety meetings (“toolbox talks”) to review hazards, site conditions, and OSHA protocols.
Perform pre shift equipment inspections for pavers, rollers, skid steers, excavators, and additional machinery.
Ordering blacktop/asphalt involves contacting local plants to confirm availability

Minimum requirements:

Asphalt paving experience
Equipment Operation & Troubleshooting
Self-motivation
Quality Control & Attention to Detail
Communication & Problem-Solving
Time Management & Productivity
Computer literacy or the ability to navigate a computer
High school diploma or GED required
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record required
Drug and Alcohol test
