Position Title: Associate Manager – Brand Media Production
Reports To: Director of Brand Management
Position Summary
The Freelance Associate Manager – Brand Media Production is responsible for overseeing the cross-functional development and production of creative assets for media marketing initiatives. This includes managing timelines, content planning, and trafficking of both static and video assets to support seasonal campaigns and brand storytelling.
Key Responsibilities
Creative Strategy & Planning
- Serve as a key liaison between media, creative, and video teams to plan and strategize storytelling opportunities aligned with seasonal product priorities.
- Collaborate with production, business strategy, and creative teams to define media-specific shot lists and styling/product requirements.
- Partner with the Media Team to develop A/B testing plans for creative assets.
Brief Development & Asset Planning
- Create detailed creative briefs for static and video content, including product story direction, channel-specific requirements, and technical specifications.
- Identify and address any outstanding asset needs not captured during initial shoots; coordinate with Creative and Social teams to fulfill these needs via studio sessions or creator partnerships.
Project & Workflow Management
- Maintain timelines and approval processes for seasonal and ad-hoc media projects.
- Lead video creative workflow meetings with cross-functional stakeholders.
- Manage the execution of static and video assets using Monday.com to track progress, ensure timely reviews, and facilitate handoffs.
Post-Production & Asset Trafficking
- Oversee the post-production review process and ensure final assets meet quality standards.
- Manage agency handoff and trafficking of creative assets, including:
- Organizing file names and links for packaged assets.
- Inputting captions and headlines.
- Uploading videos to YouTube.
- Implementing linking strategies for media assets.
- Adding product URLs for Collection ads.
- Conducting quality assurance checks prior to go-live.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required; 3–5 years of experience in retail or agency marketing preferred.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing best practices.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects of varying complexity simultaneously.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in collaboration with business partners.
- Strong ownership mindset and accountability for project outcomes.
- Excellent communication and follow-up skills.
- Ability to build and maintain effective relationships across cross-functional teams.
- Comfortable presenting in formal settings, including one-on-one, team meetings, and leadership reviews.
- Self-motivated with keen attention to detail, deadlines, and reporting.
