Responsibilities
- Work as part of the USMA Data Management team supporting data acquisition and curation for research and clinical development.
- Design and implement data management solutions aligned with FAIR principles.
- Ensure high-quality data delivery and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
- Support data collection, review, and reporting to ensure regulatory compliance and data integrity.
- Oversee vendor management, data transfer agreements, and stakeholder communication.
- Manage project timelines, risks, and deliverables across multiple studies.
- Perform data reviews, identify trends, and ensure data quality using visualization and statistical tools.
- Represent Data Management in study meetings and communicate progress to stakeholders.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and adopt new data technologies.
- Provide expertise on data collection, curation, and management best practices throughout the research lifecycle.
- BS or MS in Life Sciences, Data Science, Computer Science, Bioinformatics, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Strong collaboration and communication skills (written and verbal)
- Knowledge of CDISC data standards
- Understanding of ICH-GCP and regulated environments
- Project management experience with ability to manage multiple priorities
- Demonstrated leadership, decision-making, and influencing skills
- Experience with data analytics and visualization tools
- Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to mentor others
- Understanding of biological data types (clinical, biomarker, WGS, RNA-seq, etc.)
