Overview
The Clinical Trial Manager is responsible for designing, executing, and overseeing human clinical studies that support product claims, credentialing, decision-making, and foundational technical understanding. This role partners closely with product and technology teams to deliver compliant, high-quality studies, manage key operational milestones, and lead a small clinical team in accordance with established governance standards and ICH-GCP guidelines.
Responsibilities

Design, implement, and manage clinical trials from study startup through closeout.

Partner with product and technology development teams to plan studies that support claims, credentialing, and scientific decision-making.

Lead day-to-day clinical trial operations, including study logistics, timelines, and budget tracking.

Prepare and manage study documentation, including informed consents, protocols, study placement materials, and IRB submissions.

Oversee study closeout activities, including documentation completion, archiving, and records management.

Build and maintain internal and external relationships that support successful clinical trial execution.

Represent clinical operations in regulatory, sponsor, and cross-functional meetings as needed.

Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of standard operating procedures and quality systems.

Apply scientific and technical knowledge to support procedural work, hands-on study activities, and problem-solving related to clinical applications.

Lead and guide a small team to ensure quality execution, milestone achievement, and compliance across studies.
Qualifications
Must-Have
-
Previous experience in a Clinical Trial Manager role with the ability to lead a small team.

Experience managing clinical trials involving human testing.

Working knowledge of ICH-GCP guidelines and clinical trial governance principles.

Experience with budgets, contracts, and deployment of informed consents.

Ability to work a flexible schedule in both remote and onsite settings for 2–3 consecutive days per week.

Experience preparing clinical trial documentation, including protocols, IRB submissions, and study closeout records.

Strong scientific foundation in biology, chemistry, measurement science, and/or a related science or engineering discipline.
