Responsibilities:
- Developing color solvent based formulations (nail polish)
- Optimizing existing formulations
- Evaluating new raw materials
MUST HAVE nail polish color formulation experience
- BS in Chemistry with At least 1 year of lab experience in developing color solvent based formulations or
- Associates degree with at least 1-5 years of working in TPM / companies specialized in manufacturing in developing solvent based nail lacquer formulations
- Experience in developing new formulations prototypes to send to customers for approval
- Adept in optimizing existing formulations with a collaborative mindset
- Experience in formulating with effect pigments, pearlescent pigments, absorption pigments and the respective dispersion
- Able to communicate effectively in English with customers and internal staff members
- Versed in the use of Microsoft Excel and Word and Email
- Experience in working in a lab R&D environment
- Adept in evaluating new raw materials in model formulations
- Experience in supervising and mentoring younger scientists a plus
- Curious, able to think outside box
