Now Hiring: Document Control Manager (Data Center Projects)
We’re looking for an experienced Document Control Manager to lead and build out document control processes for large-scale data center construction projects. This is a high-impact role responsible for ensuring all project documentation is accurate, organized, and aligned across engineering, procurement, and construction teams.
- Establishing and managing a best-in-class document control system across all phases of the project
- Ensuring accurate and timely document distribution, review, and approvals
- Maintaining full traceability of drawings, transmittals, and project documentation
- Leading and mentoring the document control team onsite
- Overseeing document workflows, revision control, and metadata standards
- Partnering with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to ensure alignment
- Managing the master document register and ensuring data accuracy
- Supporting project closeout, including final documentation and archiving
- 10–15 years of document control experience in large-scale construction or industrial environments
- Strong knowledge of document control systems, workflows, and quality standards
- Proven leadership experience managing document control teams
- Experience working across multiple disciplines in a project-driven environment
- Hands-on experience with EDMS platforms and client portals
- Data center or mission-critical project experience preferred
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Business, Information Management, or related field
- Experience with Aconex or Omega365
- Experience with Procore
- Certifications in Document Management or Information Governance
- Site-based role within project offices
- Highly collaborative with engineering, construction, and supply chain teams
- Involvement in project meetings, audits, and documentation reviews
- Occasional travel between project sites or to the Houston office
