Responsibilities
- Perform Class 7 inspections on tractor trailer and light duty trucks.
- Diagnose and repair vehicles, trucks, heavy equipment, and accessories.
- Complete paperwork associated with repairs and inspections.
- Clean workstation and mechanic shop on a weekly basis.
- Complete miscellaneous projects assigned by the Mechanic Shop Manager.
- Ensure all tools are used and treated in a professional manner.
- Enforce and abide by all company policies and procedures.
- Follow all safety policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Degree or diploma in Mechanical or Automotive Engineering, or comparable experience.
- Knowledge of diesel engine components.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified above.
- CDL, Class A License is a plus.
- Excellent knowledge of vehicle and equipment repairs is required.
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
- Attention to detail is required.
