Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced HVAC Foreman to lead residential and light commercial HVAC installation crews in the Tucson area. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with strong technical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship while maintaining a safe and productive job site.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and lead HVAC installation crews on residential and light commercial projects.
- Coordinate daily job site activities to ensure projects are completed on schedule and within budget.
- Read and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications.
- Install, troubleshoot, and oversee HVAC systems, including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and ductwork.
- Train, mentor, and develop technicians and apprentices.
- Ensure all work meets local building codes and company quality standards.
- Maintain a safe work environment and enforce OSHA safety practices.
- Communicate effectively with project managers, customers, and subcontractors.
- Complete job documentation and maintain accurate project records.
- Manage tools, equipment, and job site materials.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of HVAC installation experience.
- Previous experience leading crews or serving as a foreman preferred.
- EPA Certification (Required).
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, installation methods, and troubleshooting.
- Ability to read blueprints and construction drawings.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in outdoor Arizona weather conditions.
