D shift: Friday – Monday, 6:00 PM – 6:30 AM Merritt Island FL 32953
Type: Contract
Compensation: $28 per hour

Responsibilities

  • Support fulfillment operations by performing inventory counting, receiving, and packing tasks, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Operate heavy equipment such as PIT equipment, forklifts, reach-trucks, and electronic pallet jacks following safety procedures and maintenance practices.
  • Receive shipments, unload deliveries, and visually inspect packages for quality and compliance with SOPs.
  • Conduct quality control checks on parts and process requirements accordingly.
  • Document receipts and work orders using inventory management tools, ensuring accurate data entry and record keeping.
  • Package parts appropriately, selecting suitable packaging materials and methods for various workflows.
  • Sort, stage, and move packages or crates, securing items to prevent loss during workflow.
  • Label and mark parts with identifiers as outlined in SOPs for proper tracking and analysis.
  • Assign storage locations and perform audits to ensure proper storage and inventory accuracy.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying and escalating roadblocks, supporting root cause analysis, and contributing to problem-solving efforts.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 2+ years of fulfillment center operations experience, including receiving and inventory functions.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs and adhere strictly to safety protocols, including PPE usage and safe operating procedures.
  • Previous certified forklift experience and fundamental knowledge of heavy equipment operation.
  • Strong attention to detail, quality focus, and dedication to safety and accuracy.
  • Excellent communication skills within a technical environment.
  • Mathematical and analytical skills to define problems, collect relevant data, and draw conclusions.
  • Ability to derive inventory requirements from Bills of Material experience.
  • Ability to build trust, maintain professional relationships, and contribute to an inclusive culture.
  • Experience in warehouse, receiving, or inventory roles within aerospace or automotive industries is preferred.
