Job Title: Lab Technician - Materials Testing
Location: Chanhassen, MN
Contractor Work Model: Onsite – onsite
Schedule: M-F 8am-5pm
Compensation: $25.00 - $35.00/hr
Type: 6-month contract
Responsibilities
- Perform mechanical/electrical/thermal properties testing of thermal interface materials and coating.
- Evaluate, collect, and record data.
- Participate in organizing and performing experiments using established procedures while summarizing and reporting results in a laboratory notebook/PPT.
- Use a computer to enter data/information including charts and tables for communication of project results/details.
Requirements
- 1-3 years of demonstrated laboratory experience.
- Computer literacy in Microsoft Office products—Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
- Ability to understand and follow experimental protocols for preservation of data.
- Capability to work safely with toxic chemicals following laboratory protocols.
- Ability to stand while working in the laboratory for most of the day.
- Associates or Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (chemist, physicist, engineer).
