We are looking for candidates with 1-5 years of experience ideally with knowledge of legal regulations, court orders, and compliance requirements related to garnishments, levies, liens, and other legal processes.
Candidates must be able to pass both a credit and criminal background check.
Responsibilities
- Review, interpret, and process garnishments, child support orders, tax liens, IRS levies, and other legal attachments in accordance with federal, state, and organizational requirements.
- Place, update, and remove account restrictions, holds, and freezes as required by legal orders.
- Conduct detailed account research to determine compliance requirements and available funds.
- Perform high-volume data entry of legal orders and related case information while validating documents, account data, and member information to ensure accurate processing and regulatory compliance.
- Monitor queues and workloads to ensure timely processing and adherence to established service level agreements (SLAs).
- Review incoming legal documentation for accuracy, completeness, and validity.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of actions taken on member accounts.
- Identify and escalate complex cases, discrepancies, or potential compliance concerns.
- Communicate effectively with internal departments, legal entities, courts, employers, government agencies, and other stakeholders as needed.
- Support team objectives by assisting with workload balancing, queue management, and process improvements.
- Participate in quality reviews and ensure adherence to established procedures and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- Knowledge of legal regulations, court orders, and compliance requirements related to garnishments, levies, liens, and other legal processes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work independently while exercising sound judgment and decision-making skills.
- Proficiency in researching and interpreting legal documents and account information.
