Responsibilities:
- Overseeing due diligence
- Management and oversight of investigation, assessment, and remediation of contaminated sites in accordance with regulations
- Work collaboratively with clients, regulatory bodies, and stakeholders to achieve desired project outcomes
- Provide mentorship and training to promote the professional development of staff members
- Conduct site investigations to identify potential sources of contamination, evaluate risks, and develop remediation strategies
- Ensure compliance with regulations, guidelines, and permits during the remedial process
- Maintain and broaden client contact and relationships, including pursuing business development opportunities with new, current, and prior clientele
- Preparation and senior-level review of technical reports
- Stay up to date with changes in environmental regulations and guidelines; and
- Serve as point of contact for clients, providing updates on project status.
- BS or MS in Environmental Science, Geology, Engineering, or related discipline
- Current Massachusetts LSP required
- Minimum of 8 years of experience conducting due diligence and regulatory investigations and remediation
- Documented experience managing environmental projects of various size and scope
- Documented experience managing multi-functional teams, providing mentorship and development to junior level staff
- Proficiency in communication and coordination with clients, regulatory officials, and other individuals
- Demonstrated understanding of environmental regulations, guidelines, and best practices
- Previous experience in MA, CT, NY, VT, and NH preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills including technical writing and report review; and
- Excellent personnel management and leadership abilities
