Join a mission-critical Air Dominance production program where your engineering expertise directly contributes to the development of advanced missile systems. We are seeking a Mechanical Review Board (MRB) Design Engineer to play a key role in ensuring production excellence, product integrity, and rapid issue resolution.

About the Role

As the Mechanical Review Board Design Engineer, you will be a vital part of a high-impact production team responsible for delivering key missile system components. This is a fast-paced, collaborative role where you will lead investigations, resolve production challenges, and drive corrective actions that keep programs on track.

You will partner cross-functionally with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Quality teams to assess non-conformances, determine root cause, and implement sustainable solutions—often under tight timelines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as a core member of the Material Review Board (MRB), evaluating non-conforming hardware for performance and compliance impacts
  • Lead root cause investigations and ensure timely implementation of corrective actions to prevent recurrence
  • Collaborate closely with Mechanical, Manufacturing, and Quality teams to resolve production issues
  • Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and parts lists to assess technical concerns
  • Drive cross-functional alignment on disposition decisions and corrective strategies
  • Provide clear, concise updates to leadership in weekly status reviews
  • Lead and communicate progress on investigative efforts across interdisciplinary teams

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university (Engineering discipline preferred)
  • Minimum 4 years of experience with Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T) per ASME Y14.5, including tolerance stack analysis
  • Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience with Creo design software
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in root cause and corrective action methodologies
  • Minimum 4 years of experience interpreting engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation
  • Demonstrated ability to lead investigations and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams

Preferred Attributes

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset
  • Ability to thrive in time-sensitive, high-visibility production environments
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Experience supporting aerospace, defense, or advanced manufacturing programs
