Project Controls Scheduler on a 12 month contract position located in Minneapolis, MN.
Project Controls Scheduler Responsibilities:
- Serve as a skilled scheduler responsible for creating and maintaining project lifecycle schedules across multiple renewable energy projects (wind, solar, battery storage systems) and potentially thermal projects.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project schedules for entire project lifecycles.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, including large-scale capital projects.
- Collaborate with PM's and departments (land rights, permitting, engineering, supply chain) to gather updates.
- Ensure schedules reflect accurate progress and dependencies across entities.
- Submit sample P6 schedule (PDF, redacted) as part of candidate evaluation.
Project Controls Scheduler Requirements:
- 10+ years of scheduling experince with large-scale projects.
- Proficiency in Primavera P6 (certification preferred)
- Hands-on experience creating, updating and modifying schedules.
- Ability to manage multi-million to billion-dollar projects and complex scopes.
- Strong understanding of project management principles.
- Utility industry experience strongly preferred.
- Industrial or construction scheduling background preferred.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and SharePoint.
